CONFIDENTIALITY
At SouthShore
Couples & Family Counseling Center confidentiality is essential.
We carefully guard the sacred trust that is the foundation of a
therapeutic relationship. The reason is simply that when trust is
established…people begin to change!
FREQUENCY OF
SESSIONS
Sessions are
normally 50 minutes, once a week. It is sometimes in the client’s
best interest to meet more frequently. This is assessed on a
case-by-case basis.
FEES
Currently
our standard fee for a 50 minute session is $100.00 for individuals
and $125.00 for couples & families. However we do work with
a sliding scale. Payment is due at the time of treatment unless
otherwise arranged. SouthShore Couples & Family Counseling
Center does not accept insurance. We have intentionally chosen
not to become a part of insurance panels because we do not want
these companies to dictate the kind of therapy provided by SouthShore
Couples & Family Counseling Center or to set limits on the
amount of time we work with a client!
CANCELLATION
POLICY
SouthShore Couples &
Family Counseling Center has a 24-hour cancellation policy. The
client(s) is responsible for the fee if a session is cancelled
with less than 24-notice, or if a client fails to attend a
scheduled session, except due to a true medical emergency or
natural disaster.
